First and foremost:

Day & Time Show Takes Place: Wednesday Nights @ 7PM - 8 or 830PM (Eastern)
Location: http://www.tvbydemand.com/radio_prowrestling_radioshow.asp

Ways to communicate with Eric:
1) You can simply create a Screen Name (free of charge NO enrollment) in the Blue Chat Window. This window is below the media player that is underneathe the "Independant Pro Wrestling TV (IPWTV) Pro Wrestling Radio Graphic. This chat box will allow you to create a screen name simple and quick, no problems. Once you type in a name, just click on "Join Channel". Just type in your screen name in the "Your Nickname" box. DO NOT TYPE ANYTHING IN THE PASSWORD BOX.

2) You can add eric.gargiulo to your Skype account. Skype is a free instant messenging program with Voice and Video capabilities. It is free of charge and you can create a screen name very easily and quickly. Just give a official email address when prompted to and follow the rest of the directions. When you add eric.gargiulo, he will receive a notification. When you want to type a message to him, simply click on his name in your friends list and click on the little Blue Bubble that looks like a "Text Cloud" like you would see in a comic strip. DO not double click his name, this will start a phone call or video chat invite or both. Just click the blue button and your on your way to chatting it up in real time. Eric uses this application while broadcasting, do not expect direct feedback as quick as you ask questions or comments. He will address it on air or send back a message to you. Be kind and do not flood a Skype Window, leave you question or comment and just listen, simple as that. You can download Skype here:

Pick the version needed for your operating system
Windows Users: http://www.skype.com/download/skype/windows/
Mac Users: http://www.skype.com/download/skype/macosx/

3) You can call in to the show live in real time. One thing should be noted is that if you get through, Eric answers the calls directly so be ready with Name & Location. Or if Eric recognizes your voice your free to begin talking it up. If your using Skype or in he chatroom, post a message that you are calling in. The number to call in is (Toll Free) 1-877-800-8834. It may ring, but he does hear the ring so be pacient. One thing though, mute your computer speakers so there is no echo effect or your not listening to yourself or causing interference. It is the internet and all, but the rules of radio still apply. Once again, TOLL FREE 1-877-800-8834

Second:

Windows Internet Explorer is known for being buggy with almost everything in existence, however, there is a solution to this and it's called Mozilla FireFox. FireFox is a more user friendly browser that has much more compatiblity with the many forms of online content. It is totally free and you can find it here:

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/

NOTE: When you are in the chatroom while using Firefox, the Chat Room may flicker from time to time, so PAY attention. If it flickers while you are typing it will stop right putting up the letters while you are typing. DO NOT CLICK BACKSPACE after the flicker, this will cause the browser to go back a page and you will be out of the chat room and will not be listening. You CAN get right back in though no problem, its just a minor thing that Java does which is not major.

Once downloaded, it will walk you through the installation process. It is very quickj and painless and it will offer you the chance to bring over your Internet Explorer Bookmarks over to it no problem. It does not become your Default Browser unless you tell it to. I used FIreFox and listened to the show no problem this past Wednesday. Also make sure your Windows Media Player is up to date by checking for software updates through its Help button, you may need to get a new version of it. Either case, Firefox should play the show no problem when it is rolling Live. You can update to a new version of Windows Media Player here and its FREE:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/default.aspx

Select which version of Windows you are running and the approriate window will appear.

Also check all your audio settings, make sure your volumes are not high on speakers but low in your Control Panel, this is an unbalance. ALso, the Media Player that streams Eric's show also has a volume control, turn it up if you feel its neccessary.

Leave questions or comments. I will update the thread when needed. Enjoy Pro Wrestling Radio Online!! As well as WBCB's Pro Wrestling Radio With Fearon Derry

John,

This is fantastic. I am going to send this to the guys at TvByDemand.

One thing that can be confusing is that when you come to the page you are prompted

Join us here every Wednesday night for
Pro Wrestling Radio with host Eric Gargiulo at 7PM.

You must click that "click here" link to listen to the broadcast. Unfortunately some people came to the page, saw the message, and never followed through.

One last thing about calls. Unfortunately I don't have a call screener. I am it. If I am on another call, I cannot answer your call and put your hold. Unfortunately the skype software will not allow me to do this without interrupting my other call. In the future I may get a second line, but that is way down the line. So if you call and I dont answer, try back as soon as you hear someone drop off on the live broadcast. Once I answer your call, I may not get to you right away but you'll know the call has been answered. Just be ready to go once I do answer and everything should run smoothly.

Thanks again guys. I am working on the audio glitches on my end. I plan to have it all ready to go for Wednesday night.

Attention Listeners: Here is a list of things you can do that can help you either listen to the show or fix issues that are preventing you from listening to the show live. First thing, the show runs each and every Wednesday from 7PM Eastern to 830PM Eastern with Optional Overtime. You can listen to the show at: http://www.tvbydemand.com/radio_prowrestling_radioshow.asp There is a live chat room that is taking place when the show is live. All other informatoin regarding the show's schedule and the like, refer to the prior post from myself here in this thread.

REGARDING BROWSERS:

To Identify Which Browser You Are Using: You can look in the top left corner of the Browser Window, the Logo of the browser your using will be there. The big blue E is Windows Internet Explorer, the standard browser everyone who uses Windows has. A Orange Fox holding a blue orb is Firefox. With each browser, make sure you are running the latest version of each browser. Firefox can be updated by clicking on Help and click on Check For Updates. Internet Explorer 7 is the standard, Internet Explorer 8 is the new version which is in BETA. More on that further down.

If you are using Mozilla Firefox, most of the time the browser has the plug in already installed to run Windows Media Players that are embedded into websites such as the one Pro Wrestling Radio Online is broadcasting from. If you are not sure about if you have the plug in installed or not, simply click on Tools and the click on Plug-Ins. A pop up window will come up, its very small in nature and can be resized and you can close it without the need to restart Firefox. However, if you have to install a plug in, you will have to restart Firefox. Don't fret though, Firefox can restart a new session right where you left off. Simply click on "Restore Session" when you reopen Firefox, and all that was lost will be reborn, or as Doc said it best: "Let's set you back at exactly the same time....it'll be like you never left". If you need a Plug In for Firefox, check out this site:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:7

NOTE: It should be noted that what i refer to as Plug Ins are also known as Add On's. The terms are interchangable, but they have the same meaning.

Simply click on the Add On you wish to install and follow the prompts. Simple as that, Firefox is a breeze.

Windows Internet Explorer is currently in two versions. Internet Explorer 7 is the standard, it's installed when Windows XP or Vista is installed. Internet Explorer 8 is the upcoming release of the Browser, with lots of updates and new features that it rips off, i mean, innovates that browser even further. If you are using IE 8 and are experiencing issues with listening to the show, please remember that IE 8 is in beta and it's probably related to the fact that IE 8 is not Final. Best suggestion if your having issues with IE, download and install Firefox. Internet Explorer has all the necessary plug in's installed that are related to Microsoft Products, Windows Media Player being one of them. Check to make sure all your IE software is up to date by click on Start and selecting Windows Update (AKA Microsoft Update).

If Your System Has Spyware:

There are solutions to this common everyday problem. If you are running Windows Vista, you can use the Windows Defender program that is located in the Control Panel or Start > All Programs > Windows Defender. You can also do a Search on your system to locate it. Windows Vista installs Windows Defender by default, so all who use Vista get it. It's a very effective program and very straight forward to use. Check for Updates so your copy is current and up to date. The Definitions are updated a lot given the fact that Spyware seems to grow every single day. Windows XP on the other hand, you have to download Windows Defender:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/default.aspx

Its free, go get it if you wish. There is another great application to use: Spybot: Search & Destroy. This application is the most popular and the most effective at eliminating all forms of spyware. It also allows you to create system restore points, backup your data, and so much more. It's completely FREE to use, FREE to update, FREE everything. Its compatible with all versions of Windows and can be downloaded here:

http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html

NOTE: It is NOT required to make a donation to Safer Networking, but if you wish feel free. WHen you download and install it, you can go through each prompt. Install the program then run the Updater before you launch the program for the first time. Also, when selecting a server to update the Application, select one with the USA Flag as the icon and always select the USA Flag closes to the top of the list. The application will download all the new updates and the like FREE OF CHARGE. The first scan of either program, Windows Defender or Spybot, will take an extra amount of time given its the first run of the application and make sure the applications are NOT set to run at system startup, unless you wish for them to run at startup.

Spybot is the best application, but so it Windows Defender. Both are great, i use both. Scan atleast once a week or more depending on how much you use the internet and ALWAYS check for updates, Spybot updates several times a week almost. Each update isnt very large in filesize so do not worry about your hard drive filling up.

MAJOR NOTE: Myself, Pro Wrestling Radio, Safer Networking, Microsoft, or Eric Gargiulo are NOT responsible if any of these spywares on your machine causes you to lose data when they are removed. The applications do warn you of this when you launch them. You can see in the scan results where the spyware is located before it is removed, so if its attached to something you like to use, uncheck it because if the spyware is removed the associated application will CEASE to function and all associared files will be lost. Use With Caution. Once again, WE ARE NOT HELD REPONSIBLE if this occurs.

One more thing, get into the habit of backing up your hard drive or drives with a USB Hard Drive. This will save you, trust me, in the event if one day a major incident occurs on your system related to spyware or viral attacks. Protect Your Data!! Without your data, whats the point of he machine anyway?

Enjoy The Show and post questions and or comments to this thread at any time. I will update each time more concerns are raised here or on air. SOrry if it seems like there is a lot to do here to listen to a show on the internet, but after a few times of running applications and the like, it becomes second nature...or is it that i am just a nerd who knows what he is talking about all to well?
